The team gets a call to immediately go to Truckee to assist another team with a mission. On arrival they are told to meet a city hall were the team — a man and two woman — have taken over a conference room. The man is dressed in a tux which he seems more comfortable in than casual clothes. The woman wear business suits. All three look like they’ve been living in their cloths and that room for days. A pile of catered food and a pharmacy worth of prescription stimulants attest to that.
The team is set up in a second conference room and told to go over lists of names for the year 1976 and not names that match a given pattern. These lists are turned over to the other team for further review. The workers at city hall studiously ignore the presence of all six interlopers.
After a couple of long days of work, the man in the tux abruptly states that they are done and just as abruptly everything is packed up. As you leave he hands you his card.
